Why is an alignment important?

Having an alignment performed on your truck means that the suspensions, wheels, and axles were, you guessed it, "aligned". But what does that really mean? And more importantly, why does it matter? Over time, the suspension will not be perfectly coordinated, so adjusting the suspension is necessary so that the wheels will be straight. If not, the wheels will wear unevenly and caused increased vibrations. '

There are a few signs that show you when an adjustment needs done. One thing you might notice is a certain pull to one direction when steering. The caster of the vehicle can also visually be seen tilting either towards or away from the driver. Tread will also be wearing unevenly.

To avoid these issues from occurring, you can schedule regular appointments based on the age of your truck. Helps with better mileage, road contact, and longer tire life.
